How to Ride the Bus

Park & Ride

Park & Ride is available at Midtown Memorial Station for patrons. Midtown Memorial offers spacious, free parking with easy access to Tulsa International Airport via Route 201. Please remember to grab all your belongings and note that parking is at your own risk.

Bikes on the Bus

Loading a Bike

  1. Lower the Rack
Pull down the folded bike rack using one hand while holding your bike with the other.
  2. Load Your Bike
Place your bike onto the rack with the wheels in the labeled slots. Please load bikes in the front (outside) slot first. If another bike is already loaded, place yours in the rear slot facing the opposite direction.
  3. Secure the Bike                                                  Raise the spring-loaded support arm over the front tire. Make sure the arm rests on the tire only, not the frame or fender.

Unloading a Bike

  1. Notify the Driver
Let the operator know you will be unloading your bike before your stop.
  2. Release the Support Arm
Lift the support arm off the tire and lower it out of the way.
  3. Remove Your Bike
Lift your bike off the rack.
  4. Fold the Rack
If no other bikes remain, fold the rack back into place.

Boarding & Payment

Check for Correct Bus

As the bus approaches, confirm the route number and destination on the digital signs located on the front and side of the bus.

Board your Bus

Step toward the curb or wave to let the operator know you would like to board. All MetroLink vehicles are ADA accessible and equipped with wheelchair access.

Have Your Fare Ready

Please have your fare ready before boarding. Our buses accept cash, coins, fare cards, and fares loaded to the GoPass app through the electronic fareboxes. If needed, the farebox can issue a change card for future use. Fare cards are available at QuikTrip locations and our stations.

Take a Seat

Please use handrails while finding your seat, as the bus may begin moving before you are seated. Courtesy seating near the front is available for seniors and riders with disabilities.
