Boarding & Payment
Check for Correct Bus
As the bus approaches, confirm the route number and destination on the digital signs located on the front and side of the bus. Flashing lights indicate the bus is slowing to a stop.
Board your Bus
Step toward the curb or wave to let the operator know you would like to board. All MetroLink vehicles are ADA accessible and equipped with wheelchair access.
Have Your Fare Ready
Please have your fare ready before boarding. Our buses accept fares loaded to our GoPass app, dollar bills, coins, and fare cards through the electronic fareboxes. If needed, the farebox can issue a change card that may be used toward a future date.
Pay Your Fare
Fares may be paid with cash, a fare card, or digitally with our app. Fare cards are available at QuikTrip locations and our stations.
Take a Seat
If you need to transfer to another bus, ask the operator for a transfer pass. The pass is valid for 3 hours and allows you to continue your trip on another bus.
Please use handrails while finding your seat, as the bus may begin moving before you are seated.
