Scheels x MetroLink Tulsa Stuff the Bus

December 6th, 2025 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This holiday season, MetroLink Tulsa is proud to partner with Scheels Tulsa to host a community-wide Stuff the Bus Winter Donation Drive benefiting Youth Services of Tulsa (YST). On Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., one of our holiday-wrapped MetroLink buses will be stationed directly outside Scheels at Woodland Hills Mall to collect essential cold-weather items for youth in need.

As temperatures drop, many young people in Tulsa face harsh winter conditions without reliable access to warm clothing, shelter, or proper cold-weather gear. This event is an opportunity for our community to join together and ensure Tulsa’s youth feel supported, protected, and cared for during the most challenging months of the year.

Why This Event Matters

Youth Services of Tulsa works year-round to support young people experiencing homelessness, crisis situations, or unstable living environments. During winter, the demand for warm clothing and survival essentials increases dramatically.

Your donations directly help YST provide life-saving support ensuring teens and young adults have what they need to stay warm and safe.

Every item collected at Stuff the Bus will go straight to Youth Services of Tulsa for immediate distribution.

Items We’re Collecting

We are asking the community to donate new or gently used winter survival essentials, including:

  • Tents

  • Adult-size cold-weather sleeping bags

  • Winter coats (all adult sizes)

  • Sturdy winter boots (men’s & women’s)

  • Hand and foot warmers

  • Warm socks

  • Hats, gloves, and scarves

  • Any warm clothing or outerwear suited for winter weather

  • Monetary Donations

These practical items are critical for young people who may not have consistent shelter or warm places to stay.

How You Can Participate

1. Drop Off Donations at Scheels

A Community That Cares

Tulsa has always been a city defined by generosity. Events like Stuff the Bus show the power of neighbors helping neighbors — especially when it comes to protecting our most vulnerable youth.

MetroLink Tulsa is honored to join forces with Scheels to bring this initiative to life, and we invite you to help us make this year’s donation drive the most impactful yet.

Join Us December 6th and Help Keep Tulsa Youth Warm

Your kindness can change someone’s entire winter. Whether you bring a pair of gloves, a warm coat, or a full bag of essentials, every donation makes a meaningful difference.

We can’t wait to see you there — and thank you, Tulsa, for always showing up with heart.
